Tuomo Railo is a choreographer and dancer, founder of the theater Glims & Gloms and painter. The versatility is visible in Railo's art where stagnation and movement take turns together with concrete and abstract.
Kaisa Soini, Nykyisyys, 1400 €.
Digitality and technology reach out from the frames of classical art. This artwork takes your thoughts above two and three dimensionality to the following dimensions and implies into the possibilities enabled by technology.
Soini, born in Somero, is both a visual artist and architect. The union of technology and wild beauty shines clearly in Soini's works as graphical forms and plain aesthetics.
Jukka Lehtinen, Tänään kotona, 1364 €.
When the cyber goths surrender to middle-classed bliss. A handmade series that portrays the 1980s.
Lehtinen is a photo artist who during his long career has open-mindedly worked in the field of art as well as with different medias. His own clear aesthetics is visible in both old photographies and new shortfilms.
Christelle Mas, Arctic, 2000 €.
In the artist's own words: "The Arctic region is usually more fictional than realistic to people. Visions connected to the Arctic region are strong. But which one is the 'authentic' reality: the one that people imagine and believe or the one they haven't seen and experienced?"
Mas (born in 1984) graduated from the university of Sorbonn. In her art, she often pictures inner universities that stem from the northern nature. She portrays the union of body and soul as abstract light phenomena.
